16th Annual Clinic Day
• June 14, 2014, 10AM - ? |
We welcome any and all to join us on clinic day! We start the day at 10AM!
There is no need to have a ferret to join us for the day. We have many play pens set up around the yard, if you wish you can rent one of our shelter ferrets to spend the day with you for a $5.00 donation. Renting one of us gets us out to enjoy the day!
Doctor Allen Edwards of the Brockport Animal Hospital is coming to the Lakeroad Ferret Farm for Clinic Day again this year! Exam times start at 10AM and continue throughout the day.
The used items auction (gently used ferret items, household items, sometimes ferret cages and electronics) will begin at noon, with our Miss Mary B as the auctioneer. There are lots of raffle items to enter to win. After, the fun activities for you and your ferrets will follow! Refreshments and food will be available.
Please consider joining us for the day. The day ends when our Mum can no longer stand, that is usually around 5PM.
Please send your registration forms back to us as soon as possible; time slots are filling fast. If you have a time need that is crucial, please call ahead so that we can place you in the best possible time for you.

Iliana Blair's Clinic Day experience: First time at clinic I did not bring my ferrets but enjoyed seeing so many in their playpens, on leashes and in the play yard. One family I remember brought theirs in a ferret stroller!
There was Doc in his long sleeve shirt and tie and his assistant to take care of the immunizations and time to discuss the ferret's health.
There was a festival like atmosphere as raffles for pet/ferret goods and ferret Olympics were available under the canopies (guess how many times a ferret will jump out of the play pen).
It was great fun too with the auction and household goods that were donated to raise money for the Shelter was held after clinic in the garage. And there was food too to be enjoyed by everyone who helped in bringing a dish to pass and cookout of hot dogs.
My first clinic day was very memorable and I have continued to attend the annual event, with at least one of my ferrets.
