How to handle an emergency

Basic advice for handling an emergency with your ferret(s):

- Stay calm
- Remove ferret from danger and into secluded, safe place (the cage is their safe zone)
- Check physical condition of ferret
- Call vet (ALWAYS have a primary and, if available, 24 hour vet emergency # on hand)
