Q - Are male ferrets bigger then females?

A - Males can weigh on average 3 to 5 pounds. Females can weigh on average 1 to 3 pounds.
  During the fall and winter season they can gain up to 50% of their weight. Once spring and summer arrive, the weight is lost.
