Settling into their new home.

April 19, 2020:
I got word from Dr. Sandra, that Baldwin, the kid she adopted from us, had crashed. She is not sure she is going to get him back. I just got word that he was moving his head and showing signs of being able to swallow. Hopefully that means he is going to come back.

April 16, 2020:
Hello Brenda, Just checking in to see how you are doing during this crisis we have and are in. I hope you have been well during these past few months, I have been very busy as I do work at the hospital here in NYC and the days are long and finally starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel. How are the babies doing, I realized I did not give you a picture or take one of the ferrets and I do not see their names on any list. Are they still alive and doing well? Thank you again for taking them and caring for them. As things settle down some and we get back to some kind of normal Ray and I would love to help you and make a donation to help care for all the babies you help. Please keep us posted and any word on the two babies Harley and Babyboy. Thank you stay well and remain blessed, Debbie

Shelter Response: Good morning Debra, it's good to hear from you. The boys are doing great, matter of fact they are up here in my space with me this morning. We have their page up on the web but I've not been keeping up very well. I did change Babyboy's name to Baldwin. Crazy times for sure. Holding my own, I have been on medical leave since Christmas, I finally came to the conclusion that I would not be able to pass the physical agility test to go back to driving the school bus, so as of April 29 I will be retired. I've attached the pictures that were taken at Christmas, opening their presents. Donna and Bill chose to buy gifts for them. I have been lax in taking pictures, we have 17 ferrets on medication 2 times a day every day, 3 of which get meds 3 times a day. The shelter is full of very elderly, medically challenged residents that keeps me busy from dawn to dusk. Many of them are 8 yrs old and older. They are such fun, crazy fur kids. Thank you, you take care of you.

Initial Contact, September 3, 2019:
We have two beautiful ferrets named - Harley and Baby Boy AKA Baldwin that we would like to find a new home for them. The reason is that I lost my job and I and family would potentially move to another place. We want to ensure we find a new home for our "babies" in advance since it takes time to find the best suitable place for ferrets.
I would appreciate it if you can reach out to me or my wife at your earliest convenience by email or phone.
Best regards, Ray
