October 5, 2018:
Hi Brenda, The calendars look wonderful. Thanks for including Boo. She is doing very well and we love her so much. One of her favorite things to do is climb on the bed in the morning and give Daddy "kisses". I hope you and the shelter are doing well amidst all this Covid craziness.
December, 2018:
Boo wanted to send her Auntie Brenda a Christmas donation to help some of the ferrets at the Lakeroad Ferret Farm. She continues to do very well in her new home with her two brothers and one sister. Her favorite activities include racing Mommy down the stairs, wrestling with her sister, sleeping in comfy ferret beds and carrying around her jingly balls.
Boo and her brothers and sisters also wanted to thank thrie wonderful betrinarian and friend. Byincluding a donation on her behalf. Please find enclosed a check on Dr. Sandra Mitchell's behalf as well. Thank you so much for rescuring Boo and allowing her to come home with us.
Please know that she is a beloved and treasured member of our family. We love her more than words can express.

August 21, 2018:
Hi Brenda,
Just checking in and letting you know that Boo is doing very well. She and her brothers and sister have just finished their round of albon (Boo loved the taste). Hopefully, we have cleared the coccidia. Dr. Sandra is coming out to the house next month to give everyone their implants. Boo and Maxi, being newbies, will have bloodwork done as well to see how everything is running. My older guy, Meeko Burgles will also have bloodwork done as he is on a 6th month schedule. Keeping my fingers crossed that everyone is healthy.
Boo has taken over all of Ayla's old beds. It was emotional at first, but I am glad she is feeling at home and that the beds are getting used (no one else really likes to snuggle in them). Boo and Maxi have developed a friendship and love to sleep and play together. Meeko Burgles just sort of watches the youngsters with the nonchalance of a worldly adult (he is five) and Baby Burgles is forever trying to assert dominance over Boo. Most of the time she is wily enough to avoid him. Boo loves ferret chew sticks (my only kid that does) and her favorite sport is trying to race mommy down the stairs and out the ferret room door. Boo has gained a little weight and seems to be past her bout of ECE. She LOVES soup and now eats quite hearty portions 3 X daily. She also still has a taste for cat food (she steals from my elderly cat Snickers) but I am hoping she will outgrow this with time.
I sincerely hope everyone at the shelter is doing well. In particular, I've been wondering about Max, Shy and the sweet pudgey Baine? I hope you are also well and that the school year continues to be a good one for you. I have a difficult Kindergarten class this year but am hopeful that with a lot of work and love they will settle in and start making gains.
I will keep in touch with regular updates. Thank you so much for letting me adopt one of your babies. She has been a wonderful addition to our family and we love her very much.
