June 3, 2023:
OFD helped Hyde cross over Rainbow Bridge, the mass on his left side was inoperable.
January 10, 2023:
I think I will move Hyde down to the cage Marceline is in, move Marceline into the horizontal
cage that the three were in but Hyde is the only one left. If I put Marceline in the horizontal that will give her more movement room. I lowered the food sack in her cage but I'm not sure she has the mobility to get into it. I can adjust food and water dishes for easier access in the horizontal cage.
December 25, 2022:
Bridget crashed 2 more times today, the last was a seizing episode. I got her back but I'm afraid it's a loosing battle, after soup with meds a couple of hours later she was having a seizure.
October 5, 2022:
Dexter seems to be very happy in the sick pen. He has more room to roam if he feels up to it. He's pooing and peeing so he's finding the food. He had 2 bowls of soup this morning.
October 5, 2022:
Raine has left for Rainbow Bridge. I'm going to strip the sick pen and move Dexter in. Hyde and Bridget won't sleep in the same bed with him any longer. Putting him in the sick pen will help him move more freely if he wishes. He can't get into the hammock or up into the sleep boxes, he will have more beds to choose from and nothing he has to climb to get to. It will free up the bed for the other two to use.
November 8, 2022:
Dexter however seems to be leaving us. He's refusing to eat his soup, Dr. Saundra suggested I try Dex and fluids, it has not improved his condition. When I checked on him before shutting the shelter down his breathing was labored.
August 30, 2022:
I have put Bridget on meds 3 times a day she seems to be doing better.
August 29, 2022:
I forgot to tell you I took Bridget's BG last night her meter read 55.
