Lola

October 4, 2021:
Lola got an implant.
April 6, 2021:
I got Rowen and Lola switched out so Lola is in the medical bank of cages. It's much easier to remember to give her the medication now that she is in the bank with all the others that get meds.
April 4, 2021:
Donna found Lola pawing at her mouth and gagging yesterday afternoon, I was doing noon meds. I immediately did a blood test on her and her numbers were 26, she is now on meds 2 times a day.
September 28, 2020:
I will move Lola out of the playroom cage and into the cage that Jules was living in.
July 7, 2020:
Once Lola decided to eat her soup out of a bowl I would set her in the box with her soup and go about my business, yesterday after she was put back into her pen I set her soup in the pen with her in front of her pillow. She spent her up time yesterday in the ferret room running around while I cleaned cages.
This morning I found her in a different bed in her pen, I got her up and gave her the library to hang in first thing this morning, before I had soup ready. I took the bowl of soup to the library and set it down, I could not find Lola but since she is eating her soup on her own I walked away to finish what I was doing. it took her less than 2 minutes to come to the bowl to eat her soup. she is officially a shelter kid. She will be seeing Doc on July 29. I'm relieved she has decided she will be happy living here.
July 5, 2020:
Lola has been moving from her pillow to the the tent in her pen to sleep, a sign she feels safe. This morning she ate her soup from the bowl on her own. I set her down in front of the bowl of soup, she dove in without hesitation. I believe we are past the concern stage, she is now spending time in the ferret room with me while I clean cages, I saw her grabbing kibble in her mouth and running under the cage to eat it. A good sign.
