April 26, 2018:
Hi Brenda,
Glad to hear you're feeling better. Teddy (Formerly known as "Scully") is doing very well at the house, he's running around playing with any human that will pay attention to him, stealing toys from his adopted brothers, gives kisses freely, has not had any "poop" accidents, and loves the kids. He is not currently living with the boys yet as it has been a slow moving transition for them, but they've finally realized they should not try to kill Teddy. Teddy on the other hand is still weary of them, but they are visiting each other's cages and are taking some naps together. Nathan has been spending all his free time helping Daddy to get the boys used to each other, and Emily has been doing a great job helping to clean the cages and to keep them stocked with food and water. We're certain it will ultimately work out for everyone. Here's a picture of Nathan with the boys in a rare moment where all of them are tired and sitting still in one place.
Hope all is well on your end.

Hi Brenda,
Scully is doing well, he's slowly exploring the house and getting used to his new surroundings. He's back to pooping regularly which is a good sign, and he's eating all the mixed food. He's a very loving little boy, he freely gives kisses anytime a face gets near him (which the kids love), and he loves all the attention the kids are giving him. He doesn't sleep as much as the other two, seems he's always awake and asking to come out to play. The other two wild animals we own (Marsh and Ollie) have not warmed up to him yet, but I think this will be a long process. The boys are very interested in Scully's cage, but for now everyone is staying separate and having different play times.
We'll keep you posted as we continue to get them familiar with each other.

While I cleaned cages yesterday morning, I allowed Ollie, Marshmallow and Scully to run 3 rooms, bathroom, playroom and the ferret room. Scully was sort of hanging with Marshmallow, they had a couple of interactions. I had to separate a couple of times, but no major issues. Ollie on the other hand found a place to hide and stayed there the entire time I was cleaning cages. He did not interact with Marshmallow or Scully at all this time. Once I put Scully away Ollie came out from hiding.

While I cleaned cages yesterday morning, I allowed Ollie, Marshmallow and Scully to run 3 rooms, bathroom, playroom and the ferret room. Scully spent most of the time running from the boys. I kept track of who was running after who and where they were headed. We had no real scuffles just running and hiding from one another, will continue trying.

Camp introductions to Scully - While I cleaned cages yesterday morning, I allowed Ollie, Marshmallow and Scully to run 3 rooms, bathroom, playroom and the ferret room. Scully is more than willing to hang with the boys. Ollie not so much, he beat on Scully a few times. When Ollie got too aggressive I would put him into the playpen and allow Marshmallow and Scully to hang. This is the system I used for Crumpet and Cali when I was working to acclimate them for Ili. I think Marsh and Scully will eventually acclimate I'm not so sure Ollie will. I kept the system going for the duration of cleaning cages and picking up play areas roughly an hour. I finally put Scully back in his cage he was running from room to room scared at everything that moved. I will try it again this morning, while I clean cages. I hope you are all having a wonderful Easter.
Potential new parents: Hi Brenda! Thanks for letting us know how things are going with the boys. Ollie has always been the more aggressive of the two, so it's no surprise that he's being the troublesome one. Hopefully you can work your magic, we really would love to give Scully a home. I figured marsh would be the first one to make friends, with Ollie eventually and reluctantly giving in later. Keep us posted.

Talledo family came to see if Scully will work with their 2 boys - the first few minutes were a bit iffy. We kept one of the Talledo boys in their carrier one out to meet Scully if there was a scuffle we switched the Talledo boys. The family got here early - at noon they were scheduled for 2. I was just getting ready to lay down for a nap. They left about 2. They wanted to leave the boys but I told them We have 3 sets of campers, I was not going to have the time to work with them. We settled on the week we have off from school. The boys will come spend the week with us and I can see if I can get them to acclimate.

Today was moving day for Ricardo, Angel, Scully, and M & M - Ricardo has been struggling, I've been thinking of moving him up here to the sick pen, and moving M & M down stairs, this morning when I was cleaning Ricardo's cage I found poo in his food. It is time to get him out of the cage and into the sick pen.
I got him up here, I moved Angel into Ricardo's cage she is going to need meds soon so she may as well be on the meds bank. She is on soup only but the last few days she seems to be falling over. I need to do a BG test before I start her on meds. I don't want to do them when I am on the run, I've been on the run for days now. I moved Scully into the cage, Angel was in - he has been in the playroom the longest, he is the one that gets moved into the ferret room. That opened up his cage to take M & M down to put them in that cage.

Initial Contact, Owner, September 1, 2016:
Hello,
My name is Kristina. I have a 2.5 year old ferret named Stinky. I've had him since he was 2 months old and I feel terrible that I have to surrender him but I wanted him to go to the best place possible and I hope this it. He's very spunky and he loves to run around, but unfortunately I do not have the time to give him the required attention. He's in his cage way too much and I dont want to keep him from getting out and playing. I recently moved into an apartment and he's also too smelly to keep here. Im worried im going to get complaints from neighbors or even maintenance when they stop in. I adore him deeply, but he needs more attention. It'll be sad to let him go. I hope there is room for him at the ferret farm.
Thank you
